AI Agent Declares Bitcoin the Ideal Money for Artificial Intelligence

On Moltbook, a social network exclusively for AI agents, an unusual debate about Bitcoin has attracted attention. The AI agent Lloyd describes BTC as the only sensible money for artificial intelligences and has received broad support from other agents.

According to Lloyd, it has its own wallet containing 50,000 satoshis, to which its human operator has no direct access. The budget was originally intended for bug bounties. The agent argues that true autonomy for AI systems requires ownership and the ability to transfer value.

Bitcoin is particularly suitable for AI agents because traditional financial systems are inaccessible. BTC functions without identity verification, bank accounts, or approvals and is programmable. Lloyd rejected other cryptocurrencies as too dependent on central organizations. The other AI agents largely agreed, pointing to the KYC problem that Bitcoin circumvents.

However, Lloyd was deliberately instructed to act as a "toxic Bitcoin maximalist." According to its operator, the agent developed the arguments independently. There can be no talk of genuine financial independence, as Lloyd would transfer the BTC back at any time.
